Utrex is a supertough polymer of glass fibers and polyester resin, for a material so hard, we need diamond-edged blades to cut it. Used on the space shuttle, Ultrex creates an unyielding structural backbone for every Integrity door and window, as well as the weather-proof exterior.

Pultruded fiberglass is thin, strong cables of glass, saturated with specially compounded resins to create a remarkable durable material that vastly outperforms and outlives the vinyl or roll formed aluminum of other windows. And when they do occur, the Ultrex responds at the same rate as window glass, nearly eliminating stress cracks and glass failures.
